Sesame Street

Telly Monster couldn't be more excited about his new Letter of the Month Club membership, and soon Vinnie the Delivery Guy is at the door with the letter A. Then a B arrives, followed by C, and D--and best of all, every letter comes with sound! The only problem is that the letters are taking over Hooper's store and Telly will have to choose between his letters and his friends.

When Baby Bear must learn his alphabet in one day, Big Bird patiently takes him under his wing in Do the Alphabet. Only "The Method," (a hilarious combination of dance, song, visualization, and group therapy) can help Baby Bear on such short notice.

Telly learns that music can be made from many different things, as the members of Stomp! make music all along Sesame Street with different every day objects.

Ernie sings a series of songs from the hotel

Who better than Big Bird to host this "Sesame Street" musical salute to our furred and feathered friends? Join a Muppet menagerie as they sing songs like "Cluck Around the Clock" and others.

The caper begins when Telly gets an e-mail account and Luis helps him send a message to friends. Several characters, including Sesame Street favorites like Cookie Monster and Oscar, write back--and someone who signs their message, "Your Mystery Friend."

How do you go up and down on a see-saw? What types of things open and close? Which is faster, a tortoise or a hare? Elmo and his friends explore all kinds of opposites.

Kids' Favorite Songs kicks off with a cackle-worthy parody of Bob Dylan doing "Old McDonald," and from there the groovy gags keep comin' 'round the mountain. Everywhere Elmo turns on Sesame Street monsters spontaneously burst into song, and all because they want him to feature their favorite tunes on his forthcoming radio countdown. For Telly, winnowing the hits to one is akin to Cookie Monster choosing between a macaroon and a figgie bar: at first he's sure that "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" lights his fire, but then he says bye-bye to a black sheep. The street heaves a collective sigh pavementward when word comes down that the countdown is strictly a numbers gig, no music involved. Only Sesame Street could weave well-loved musical numbers around a simple numbers lesson with such wacky pizzazz, making this a countdown that's no letdown for high-spirited parent-preschooler combos.

After wishing she had her own fairy tale, Abby Cadabby falls asleep while reading "Alice in Wonderland" with Elmo, and ends up in a world just like the book! Also includes the thrilling adventure, "Texas Telly and the Golden Triangle of Destiny!" Note: This entry refers to the special as aired on television, and not the direct-to-DVD version. Elmo visits The Count's castle to tell him funny scary jokes. Classic Sesame Street segments are separated with new joke segments set in the castle's exterior, featuring one Sesame Street character and a child, and interior, featuring The Count, Elmo, and some combination of the Bats, the Skeleton, a painting of the "Groana Lisa," a suit of armor and the Count's pipe organ.

The Sesame Street character has fun singing some catchy new songs (you and your toddler just might, too), explaining the difference between light and heavy, having a laugh over pictures and numbers, and sharing the screen with a good-natured Whoopi Goldberg and Julia Roberts. Of the various Elmo videos, this one really does have the choicest material and stands up to repeat viewings--a big plus with little ones.

It's hard for Elmo to have a Red Furry Monster Parade when he's the only red furry monster on SESAME STREET, and so his friends decide to join in. The only problem is the more friends who want to join, the longer the parade name is going to get. How will the gang have a parade that includes everyone without the name of it becoming impossible to remember?

Big Bird and Telly Monster lead young viewers through the alphabet, letter by letter, in a magical and imaginative half-hour discovery of letters and their sounds. The perfect tape for young Sesame Street fans who are just beginning to get the hang of what letters are all about, it includes short skits, songs, and other bits of business--some original, some culled from the Sesame Street show--featuring a variety of Muppet characters as well as the human residents of that famously educational thoroughfare.

In the first-ever "Elmo's World" holiday special, Elmo is gearing up to celebrate Christmas. But what present will he give Dorothy, his beloved goldfish? As he searches for an answer, Elmo learns about holidays around the world and discovers the many things that Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa have in common. Finally, Elmo goes to the North Pole, where Santa has some expert advice about the true spirit of Chirstmas - and the perfect gift for Dorothy!

When Oscar carelessly tosses Elmo's fuzzy blanket into his trash can, Elmo dives in after it, into Grouchland, the land of Grouches, stinky garbage and the greedy Huxley who hasn't learned how to share.

Waking up is easier when your friend Elmo is there to help you greet the day! Join him as he learns all about sleep, getting dressed, and teeth. With a dancing shade, a mischievous drawer, a frisky television and a playful computer, Elmo's World is the perfect place for preschoolers to learn all about the world around them, And Elmo has help from his friends Bert & Ernie, Mr. Noodle and the Count to aswner questions like "how do you go to sleep,?" "how do you button a shirt?" and "how do you taken care of your teeth?" In Elmo's World, learning is always fun! 50 minutes.

Somewhere into the so-so "Itsy Bitsy Spider" segment, the sinking feeling that Kids' Favorite Songs 2 is strictly sequel material sets in. This is a march down Sesame Street on a slow day, when the loopy monster misunderstandings and goofball gags miss a rare beat or two. Still, making merry is what the Sesame crew does best, and they succeed here, if on a less brilliant level than we've come to expect. All the usual favorites, like "If You're Happy and You Know It" and "The Ants Go Marching," get the gang and their real-life kid friends grooving, and a running joke involving a renegade meatball keeps kids 18 months to 5 tuned in to the end. Elmo hosts.

1 to 20 is your aim if you want to play this game. With a push of the start button, Elmo, Telly and Gabi find themselves inside The Great Numbers Game. Each number they find leads them to one of Sesame Street's classic counting cartoons. Who will be the winner? Everyone wins when they play The Great Numbers Game! Features the best of Sesame Street's classic cartoon segments.

Get ready to explore the great outdoors with Elmo and learn all about Fish, Weather and Wild Animals! Wild Animals, Fish and Weather! With a dancing shade, a mischievous drawer, a frisky television and a playful computer, Elmo’s World is the perfect place for preschoolers to learn all about the world around them. So if you want to know what to wear in the rain, where a fish lives or which animals are wild, it’s time to visit Elmo’s World!

The Muppets are putting on a play on words (get it?), a convenient framing device for a Sesame Street-style reading lesson. Get ready for some sticky, slippery fun when Prairie Dawn directs the G-rated vaudevillian act, complete with Bert and Ernie in straw hats telling corny jokes and a pie-throwing machine in fine working order. There are behind-the-scenes prop emergencies and a finale no-show, prompting rhyming lessons ("Oh, no, Hoho is a no-show!") and plenty of TV clips, including "I Am Chicken," the fowl take on the feminist anthem "I Am Woman." Elmo joins singing partners Mo and Flo in the stirring (substitute) finale, "We Got the Need to Read." Kindergarteners who think they're too old for Sesame Street might still get drawn in by challenges aimed at beginning readers. Ages 2 to 6.

A collection of silly songs that children will love including Ladybug Picnic, Put Down the Ducky, Jellyman Kelly, Ten Tiny Turtles among others.

Tickling with a Groovy Twist Elmo's Tickle Hands come with an exclusive DVD that features a dance lesson on how to perform Elmo's brand new dance -- the "Tickle Hand Groove." This is a simple dance that children will be able to learn with ease. The DVD is hosted by Elmo, himself, and has all the charm of any Sesame Street feature. Kids will find the accompanying song upbeat and danceable. The song can be played at any time by pressing the image of Elmo's face on the right glove. What's in the Box

Fiesta means party in Spanish, and Sesame Street is pulsating with activity in this upbeat preschool program featuring Latino songs. Jim Henson's Muppets join the fun while everyone's favorite, Elmo, learns the Conga-Wiggle dance. Maria, Rosita, and Gabi create floats and costumes; even Oscar reluctantly partakes in the festivities. The dialogue is sparse in order to devote most of the 30-minute show to singing and dancing during eight Spanish/English tunes, featuring special performances by Linda Ronstadt and Celia Cruz. Most of the music will be familiar, such as "Conga Counting Song," "Amigo," and "It Sure Is Hot." Kids will also learn greetings, familiar words, and numbers in Spanish. While some might wish for the addition of live-action scenes of Mexico or a more complex story line, the bilingual focus is solid and the ever supportive cast of Sesame Street grownups, kids, and Muppets make it a neighborhood worth visiting.

Me Gusta Ser Yo (I Like to Be Me) is a Plaza Sésamo video released in 2005. In the video, Lola and Pancho visit Pablo Bigotasso's art gallery and learn about the parts of the body and what makes them unique. The framing sequence borrows scenes from two episodes from the late 90's.

Each segment has Lola going on an adventure and trying to solve a problem that she faced on her adventure. Later segments have Lola visit countries in parts of Latin America.
