Sheep

A sheep sees what no one wants to see – and fights against the blindness of its own flock. The flock of sheep lives with the firm belief that a better life awaits them at the "Obermoser" butcher shop. Only when Oliver makes a disturbing discovery one night does he recognize the gruesome truth behind this promise. Horrified, he tries to warn his fellow sheep and save them from certain death. But fighting against the denial, habit, and blind faith of the flock becomes a dangerous challenge for Oliver.

In his search for evidence of humans' sheep-endangering behavior, Oliver quickly finds an unlikely ally, but the farmer soon uncovers Oliver's schemes.

After a tragic event, the reformed herd tries to escape the farm, but the electric fence proves to be a greater obstacle than initially thought. Hot on the farmer's heels, Oliver flees.

While on the run and alone in the woods, Oliver makes the surprising acquaintance of Joleen. She sees both the past and the future with remarkable clarity, a perception aided by some mushrooms. After an epic journey, Oliver finds himself at a crossroads.

After the farmer turned the barn into a maximum-security prison, the sheep's fate seemed inevitable. But Oliver was fiercely determined to fight for himself and his flock.
