He grasps a golden chance to frame HO up. He informs the EMPEROR that HO has kept to himself a book named 'Book from Heaven', which is a guideline for governing the country. The EMPEROR is greatly annoyed and orders for the execution of HO and his family. HO's wife and only daughter FUNG are lucky to have escaped, but HO is captured. FUNG and her mother hide at the house of another mandarin, AN.
The house of AN is confiscated when the EMPEROR learns that he has helped the HO's. So his son LOONG, who is also the lover of FUNG, has to join FUNG as fugitives. MING, son of General GAY, falls for the beauty of the younger sister of the EMPEROR at the first sight. Immediately, he starts his courtship. But the young PRINCESS only shows her scorn.
